Madelyn's Surgery

Madelyn's teeth are finally fixed!!! Maddie's teeth (or should I say her 6 cavities) have been bothering her for months now and we couldn't get in to the Children's hospital until now. We have been up many nights with her crying that her teeth hurt. She had 3 cavities so deep she needed to get 3 crowns on her baby teeth. Maddie had her surgery on the Monday right after Christmas to do all this. She did super well, except she DID NOT like having the mask put over her face to be put to sleep. She defintely remembers that part of it! The whole thing only took about 4 1/2 hours (including her recovery time). We are very thankful they are fixed and we hope that her teeth feel better. The first thing she said to me when she was wheeled into recover was, "mom, now I can have pop and
M & M's- Yeah, I don't think that will be happening being she has 6 cavities and is only 3!

I can't believe Christmas has come and gone already! We had a wonderful Christmas spent with many family and friends. It was so nice to get together and see everyone. I can't believe how fast Christmas break goes!!
